To include the scan widget on your own website, please log in to your partner dashboard and select the "Scan widget" tab. Here you can select the desired options and copy the generated HTML code or shortcode (in combination with our WordPress or Joomla plugin) to your own web page.

The scan widget ensures that initially:

The required Cascading Style Sheet is added to the <header>

All text appears in the selected language;

Optionally, an input field for a reference code is shown with the specified label;

Optionally, the specified URL parameter or specified fixed value is taken as a reference code;

The correct text will be shown on the scan button (depending on the scan mode);

The available other scan options will be shown on mouse-over;

The "More information" link is added next to the scan button;

The disclaimer line is shown beneath the scan button;

A hidden link is added to the word "scan" in the disclaimer so that partners simply perform a scan in the partner mode;

Optionally, the ScanCircle speedometer is shown.

And after pressing the scan button, another scan option or the hidden link:

The content of any input fields are combined to form a reference code, optionally preceded by the indicated category;

It checks whether the reference code is required and meets the specified format;

The reference code is exchanged with the scan program (if possible) or via the database;

In MSIE/Edge1, it examines whether the correct .NET version is already available and if not offers a download option;

It examines which action is to be taken:

Install the app from the Microsoft Store (change the label to "Opening Store ..." during 10 sec);

Launch the app with the selected parameters (change label text to "Staring app ..." during 10 sec);

The executable for .NET4 / Windows 8+ (change the label to "Downloading scanner ..." with 3 dots during 10 sec);

The executable for .NET2 (change the label to "Downloading scanner .." with 2 dots during 10 sec);

Then the text of the "More Information" link will change to "Did it not work?".

A few notes:

Enter the address of your own scan page as "Own scan page" so that the links in the e-mail to registered users and social media posts refer to it;

If you want to give the elements a different color, font, size or place, you can use the following CSS elements (use !Important to override the default value):

#scancircle_button the scan button;

#scancircle_refcode: the contents of the input field;

#speedometer: the speedometer div;

Hierbij wat tips om het rendement van het ScanCircle partnerabonnement te verhogen:

In een mailing aan je klanten een link sturen dat ze een gratis scan (computer APK) mogen doen en dat jullie ze willen helpen bij het oplossen van eventuele problemen;

En dit duidelijk op je website aangeven, gebruik hiervoor het ScanCircle computerdiagnose logo. Maak bij voorkeur ook een eigen pagina aan waarin je uitlegt wat de scan doet en waarom je klanten 'm ook veilig kunnen gebruiken en neem dan gelijk de scanknop op die pagina op;

Op elke computer die ter reparatie aangeboden wordt, zowel vooraf (zodat je snel een uitgebreide diagnose kunt stellen) als aan het einde een scan doen. De resultaten van de scans kun je eventueel aan de klant laten zien, zodat die kan zien wat er gedaan/verbeterd is en eventueel kun je ook nog aangeven dat je tegen betaling nog een paar dingen kunt doen om de computer sneller/stabieler/veiliger te maken (bv extra geheugen, updates, enz). M.b.v. het rapportcijfer kun je dan aangeven dat de computer bv. verbeterd is van een 4.5 naar een 8.5;

Voor je eigen scans kun je het scanprogramma uitvoeren in de partner modus, zodat je achteraf kunt zien welke scans je zelf gedaan hebt en welke door bezoekers zijn gedaan. Tevens kun je dan een referentiecode opgeven, zodat je de scan kunt koppelen aan een reparatie-opdracht, klant of onderhoudscontract;

de “eenvoudige samenvatting” (toegevoegd in release 1.3): een checklist met de resultaten en met de standaard afbeelding "Hulp nodig bij deze scan? Wij kunnen u helpen" (zodat leken niet schrikken van alle details en duidelijk de hulpknop kunnen vinden);

meer “aanbevolen” punten: zo is in release 1.3 het advies voor ontbrekende opstartprogramma’s een (oranje) “aanbevolen” ipv (groen) “informatief” punt geworden, omdat dit het opstarten van de computer onnodig vertraagt. Aangezien dit vrij vaak voor komt en lastig uit te schakelen is (msconfig), verwachten we dat meer bezoekers jullie hulp in zullen roepen;

de opstartprocessen te gaan classificeren (ongewenst, onnodig, optioneel, enz), zodat het opstarten van computers versneld kan worden (gepland voor een van de volgende releases). Maar ook dit is een lastig klusje dat beter door de experts uitgevoerd kan worden;
